Foreign nationals may be able to own property within selected Integrated Tourism Complexes (ITCs) and approved projects, subject to current regulations, project eligibility and ownership structure. Property ownership in selected ITCs may support possible residency options, subject to current regulations, investment threshold, project eligibility and approval by the relevant Omani authorities. Residency is not guaranteed and must be verified before reservation.

Typical off-plan launches may request a booking deposit followed by construction-linked or time-based installments. Post-handover plans may be offered by some developers. Exact terms depend on the project and must be confirmed before reservation.

Resale before handover may be possible in some projects, but it depends on the developer's rules, payment status, project documentation and current market conditions. This must be confirmed directly before making any reservation decision.

Off-plan property involves risks including construction delays, changes to specifications, currency movement, changes in regulations and variable rental absorption. Buyers should assess each project independently and seek qualified legal, tax and financial advice.

Mortgage financing may be available for some buyers and some projects, but approval depends on the buyer profile, bank requirements, project eligibility and current lending rules. Financing should not be assumed and must be confirmed with a qualified bank or mortgage adviser.
